The Sorkin Group aims to better understand life processes that involve deformation and remodeling of biological membranes.
We use and develop tools to manipulate and measure biophysical properties and interaction forces in systems of interest, combining optical trapping, microfluidics and confocal fluorescence microscopy as well as atomic force microscopy (AFM).
