School of Electrical Engineering
Our group focuses on modelling wave phenomena in metamaterials, metasurfaces and other complex systems. We focus on:
- Modelling waves in an inhomogeneous environment, to enable dielectric measurements, with emphasis on biological tissues, using open-coaxial probes.
- Metasurfaces with topologically nontrivial unit-cell structures - knot-particle metasurfaces - which enable unique scattering and absorption properties.
- Wave interaction with cylindrical structures and nonreciprocal wave propagation.
We are actively recruiting students to research on these subjects for various applications.
