Annual LMI Retreat in Nazareth
Lectures, student presentations, and cultural visits
17 September 2025
The annual retreat of the Tel Aviv University Light-Matter Interaction (LMI) Center was held this week in Nazareth.
The retreat opened with a visit to the Church of the Annunciation and Mount Precipice, followed by two intensive days of lectures.
The first lecture was delivered by the center's recently hired faculty member, Dr. Sivan Trajtenberg-Mills, on Inverse-Designed Photonic Crystal Cavities.
The program continued with 16 student presentations representing the different groups of the center.
Many thanks to all the speakers and participants for making the retreat a success.
